Dr. Arif Kürşad Ayan was born in Erzurum in 1978. He graduated from Erzurum Cultural Institution Primary School, Erzurum Anatolian High School and Erzurum Science High School. Following graduation he started studying at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 1996. Ayan graduated from School of Medicine in 2002.

In 2004, he started his residency training in Atatürk University School of Medicine, Department of Nuclear Medicine. He received his residency training in 2010. In the same year, he started working as an assistant professor in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Atatürk University School of Medicine and continued this position until 2017. As of April 2018, he started working as a nuclear medicine specialist at the Muğla Yücelen Hospital.
