Ahmet Zülküf Erdem was born in 1950 in Elazığ. He completed his education life in Ankara and graduated from Ankara Atatürk High School. He started his medical education at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine in 1967. After completing his education at Hacettepe University, he went to Germany for specialization between 1975-1998. Between 1975-1979, he worked as a Specialist Doctor in Essen Klinikum, Germany. Between 1979 and 1983, he worked as an Operator Doctor at Hannover Medizinische Hochschule. He completed his residency at University of Gottingen in 1983. During this period, he performed rotations in Germany on anaesthesia, gynaecology, oncology and cytology. He received training and gained experience on subjects such as advanced birth tests, intrauterine scalp blood, gas determination, and intrauterine pressure measurement in Frauenklinik, one of the leading clinics in Berlin. He has a German book on NST. He returned to Turkey in 1983 and gave the equivalency exam at Ankara Gülhane Faculty of Medicine. Obstetrician at Eskişehir Anadolu University Hospital between 1986-1992, Gynaecologist at Ziraat Bank Hospital between 1993 and 2002, Chief Physician at Ziraat Bank Hospital between 2002-2007, private practice in Fethiye between 2007-2009. She worked as a Gynaecologist at a hospital, as a Gynaecologist at a private hospital in Tekirdağ between 2010-2011, and as a Gynaecologist at Veni Vidi Health Group Çağ Hospital between 2011-2012. She has been working as a Gynaecologist at Private Marmaris Yücelen Hospital since 2013. Ahmet Zülküf Erdem speaks intermediate level of English and advanced level of German. He is proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
