Suat Altınmakas was born on 19.03.1968 in Adana. Altınmakas, who continued his primary, secondary and high school education in the same city completed his university education at Çukurova University, Faculty of Medicine between the years 1985 - 1991. He is fluent in English. After his university education, he started working at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 1992 to get his specialty and started his career as a Cardiology Specialist in 1997. His first place of duty as a specialist doctor was Maltepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology in 1997-1998. In addition to his professional life, Altınmakas, who also carried out academic studies simultaneously, worked as Assistant Professor between the years 1998-2000. He has been an Associate Professor in 2001. Altınmakas has 46 articles and scientific publications published in Turkey and abroad. In addition, there are two books called BETABLOKERS (Ed. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haldun Karagöz) and Valvuar Heart Diseases (Ed. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuna Tezel) which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Altınmakas contributed as chapter author.
