Treatment of Eye Disorders in Infection, Allergic and Inflammatory Conditions

Stye: Swelling of the eyelid as a result of inflammation of the hair follicle. According to the location of the inflammation in the hair root, it is classified as internal sty and external sty. Stye, redness of the eye, stinging, green discharge, pain and burring in the eyelid can be seen. Chalazion: It is a lump in the eye as a result of inflammation of the sebaceous glands. A chalazion can occur as an internal sty. Although it first starts as a small stye or acne, redness and swelling increase and become painful and reddened. Blepharitis: Blepharitis is also known as eyelid inflammation. It is a chronic disease caused by inflammation of the eyelids.

Inflammation of the eyelids often requires daily care and cleaning at home. Conjunctivitis: As a result of inflammation of the white part of the eye (sclera) and the inner part of the eyelids, the eye becomes red. For this reason, this disease is called red eye among the people. Generally, the treatment process continues with eye drops, ointment and daily cleaning and care, and it heals in a period of 1 week to 10 days. Allergic Conjunctivitis: Also known as eye allergy among the people. The patient's eye reacts to allergens from the environment. There may be a stinging sensation in the eyes, redness, burning in the eyes, itching and sensitivity to light. Antihistamine drops, hot and cold compresses, daily eye cleaning and care, pomades are used in the treatment of this disease. Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis: This type of conjunctivitis is the most common type. In the spring months, as a result of the pollen in the air during the seasonal transitions, a reaction occurs in the eye and creates an allergic problem.

If the eye comes into contact with more allergens, the inflammation may increase even more. Contact Eye Allergy: This type of allergic eye disease occurs when the eye reacts to chemical products. It is caused by the fact that the individual has an allergic eye structure to some drugs or some cosmetic products. Artificial tear drops and antihistamine drops are generally used in the prevention and treatment of allergic reactions. Uveitis: It is a serious disease that can cause vision loss as a result of inflammation of the uvea (middle part of the eye). If this inflammation of the eye is not treated, it causes blindness. Since it is a recurrent disease, urgent treatment is required to prevent permanent damage.
