Pediatric dentistry (pedodontics) is the healthy protection and treatment of milk and permanent teeth of children between the ages of 0-12.

Different applications are made in the treatment of milk teeth.

Root canal treatments, compomer fillings, amalgam fillings and steel crowns can be applied to primary teeth. These treatments are sufficient for the permanent teeth from below to function until they erupt. The most damaged areas in children as a result of accidents and traumas are the mouth and teeth. Generally, traumas to the front teeth cause the teeth to break or the teeth to come out of the bone completely. The first thing to do in such injuries is to find the tooth and gently wash it under water without touching the root part. You should go to the dentist as soon as possible. After a properly performed treatment, there is a high probability that these teeth will fuse back into place. Different applications can be made according to the location of the fracture and the condition of the bone.

The treatment of our patients who cannot adapt to dental treatments due to their young age, physical or mental disability, cannot cooperate, who have a syndrome and who come from far away and need many dental treatments at once, are treated in the general anesthesia unit in the day surgery room within our hospital.
