He was born in Köyceğiz in 1975. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Eskişehir. Dr Sabiha Ercan started her medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1993.

After his graduation in 1999, he worked as a general practitioner at Bursa Büyükorhan Health Center and in 2001 at Ankara Mamak Derbent Health Center. In 2003, he started his Anesthesiology and Reanimation Specialization training at Ankara Başkent University. He completed his specialization in 2008 and became an expert. After completing his compulsory service at Afyonkarahisar Bolvadin Halil İbrahim Özsoy State Hospital, he started working at Milas 75. Yıl State Hospital in 2010. In 2015, he started working at Private Muğla Yücelen Hospital, where he still works.
