Dr. Arif Kürşad Ayan was born in Erzurum in 1978. He completed his primary education at Erzurum Cultural Association Primary School, his secondary education at Erzurum Anatolian High School and his high school education at Erzurum Science High School. Dr. started his education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1996. Ayan graduated in 2002.

In 2004, he started his specialty training at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nuclear Medicine. He completed his specialist training in 2010. In the same year, he started working as an assistant professor at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nuclear Medicine, and continued in this position until 2017. As of April 2018, a Nuclear medicine specialist started working at Private Muğla Yücelen Hospital.
