He practiced his profession as a general practitioner in Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş between 1983-1985. He worked as a urology assistant at Ankara Yüksek İhtisas Hospital between 1985 and 1989. He started working at Çorum State Hospital as a urology specialist in 1989. He worked as a urologist at the 200-bed Kyrenia Military Hospital between 1989 and 1990. He continued his duty as a urology specialist at Çorum State Hospital from 1990 until August 2013. He served as chief physician at the same hospital between 1996 and 1999.
