He completed his primary education at Ankara Polatlı Primary School and his secondary and high school education at İzmir Maarif College (Bornova Anatolian High School). After graduating from Izmir Ege University Faculty of Medicine for medical education in 1987, he completed his specialization at SSK Göztepe Training Hospital in 1994.
