Basic emergency health service refers to the fulfillment of medical care in a specially designated area of ​​the hospital with the emergency doctor on duty, the necessary personnel and equipment to provide rapid health care to patients with urgent medical problems.
In our hospital, 24/7 emergency services are provided by a professional healthcare team. In case of emergencies, necessary interventions are made by our specialist doctors and health team based on the patient's condition.
In the emergency department of our hospital, all equipment and materials necessary for life support are available to patients in emergency situations. As a cardiology center, 7/24 angiography etc. in our hospital. operations are performed. In line with emergency diagnosis and examinations, 24/7 magnetic resonance (MR), computerized tomography (CT) and ultrasonography (US) services are provided.
Reducing the time spent in the emergency room is a priority in order to improve the patient's access to treatment and increase the quality of care. In our hospital, there is a categorization prepared in accordance with international health standards in order to shorten this period. Waiting times and urgency situations were determined one by one according to the course of the disease and the patient's condition. At the same time, waiting times and emergency interventions are organized depending on the categorization according to the physical examinations performed by both the support health team and the specialist physicians.

Red Area: Patients in the red area are life-threatening. Traumas in this area, severe allergic reactions, high fever, risk of heart attack, bleeding conditions, severe headache, unconscious, etc. All diseases requiring urgent intervention are in the red area.

Yellow Area: Diseases with a risk of permanent damage such as moderate traumas, accidents, vaginal bleeding are included in the yellow area.

Green Area: Diseases that are mildly severe and will not cause permanent damage or damage if expected are taken to the green area.

The emergency department triage plan available in our hospital is categorized as red for the first two levels, yellow for the 3rd and 4th levels, and green for the 5th level.
Stage Resuscitation: In cases such as cardiopulmonary arrest, major trauma, shock conditions, closed consciousness, seizures, the red area is met as resuscitation in the emergency room and is immediately intervened.

Level of Emergency: In cases such as head trauma, severe trauma, change in consciousness level, chemical substance contact with the eye, severe allergic reaction, chest pain, abdominal pain, back pain, black stools, major neurological deficits, immediate intervention is taken. Common or severe respiratory distress, vaginal bleeding, vomiting and/or diarrhea (dehydration), signs of severe infection, fever, extreme agitation (psychotic), hypoglycemia, headache, severe CVA, severe back or eye pain, and sexual assault. There is a waiting time of more than 5 minutes.

Stage Emergency: There is a maximum waiting time of 3 minutes in cases such as head trauma (consciousness), moderate trauma, vomiting and/or diarrhea (suspected dehydration), need for dialysis, signs of infection, mild to moderate respiratory distress. There is a maximum waiting time of 10 minutes in cases such as chest pain, black stools, vaginal bleeding, seizures (past), susceptibility tendency, severe pain due to minor injuries, moderate headache, CVA and back pain.

Stage Can Wait: There is a maximum of 5 minutes waiting time in cases such as head trauma (awake, no vomiting), minor trauma, abdominal pain, earache, chest pain (minor trauma, breathing is comfortable), vomiting and/or diarrhea. There is a maximum waiting time of 15 minutes in cases such as suicidal ideation, depressive, minor allergic reaction, foreign body in the cornea, chronic back pain, complaints due to upper respiratory tract infection, mild headaches (non-sudden, no migraine diagnosis).
Level Not Emergency: Minor trauma may not be acute, there is a maximum waiting time of 10 minutes in cases such as sore throat (no respiratory problems), diarrhea (no dehydration and unconsciousness disorders). There is a maximum waiting time of 20 minutes in cases such as vomiting (no dehydration and consciousness disorders), no chronic abdominal pain, and psychiatric complaints.
